Brief History of the club

The club was initiated in August 2018 after a noted sizeable increase in the amount of people wanting to play the game of Gaelic Football in Ho Chi Minh city. There is an every increasing amount of expats arriving in the city and the opportunity of having 2 teams in close proximity seems to be a fantastic opportunity, one which we felt could not be ignored. We have started with a small, dedicated crowd but with time-we would like to grow and expand. We are, at the moment concentrating on a female only team and have a good amount of our own kids playing too. With time we will hopefully make this more organized.

Record of achievements

We entered round 1 of the ladies league this year in 2019, and beat our main rivals the Saigon Gaels. Currently as we type this we are ahead on the leaders board. We have followed up and have the played the Gaels again, loosing narrowly to their A team and beating their B team quite convincingly.

Interesting club or personnel stories

We are completely international, there is a small small minority of those playing Irish and mostly all our trainings sessions are accompanied by our children who play at the other end. Most are moms who play but we do want to grow and expand our team
